Dhaka stocks rise for fifth day

Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) continued to keep gaining for the fifth consecutive day today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 37 points, or 0.60 per cent, to 6,297 at 12:10pm. Turnover stood at Tk 727 crore.

Of the securities, 215 advanced, 74 declined and 86 did not show any price movement.
