Dhaka stocks inch up

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened slightly higher today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 33 points, or 0.54 per cent, to 6,167 at 12:25pm. Turnover stood at Tk 496 crore.

Of the securities, 226 advanced, 72 declined and 83 remained unchanged.
