Stocks snap six days’ falling streak

Stocks in Bangladesh rose slightly today snapping six straight days' falling streak.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 2 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 6,201 at 12:30 pm.
Turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 97 crore.
Of the securities, 47 advanced, 86 declined and 134 did not show any price movement.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 0.12 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 18,320.
Of the issues, 16 rose, 22 retreated and 37 remained unchanged.
