The champions in the Bangladesh's ICT sector are set to be recognised this evening and their extraordinary achievement celebrated in the field of information and communication technology.

Five companies and two individuals are expected to receive the awards in six categories at the 9th edition of the BRAC Bank-The Daily Star ICT Awards at a ceremony today at the Le Méridien Dhaka.

Since 2016, The Daily Star has been recognising the IT entrepreneurs to raise awareness about the role of ICT in nation-building and to encourage innovation and excellence among ICT talents and enterprises.

The recognition has been given in association with BRAC Bank with support from the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

Last year, five companies and one individual received the 8th edition of the BRAC Bank-The Daily Star ICT Awards.
