BGB detains 2 hundi traders with $5,00,000 in Jashore
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained two hundi traders with USD 5,00,000 from Sharsha upazila in Jashore today.
A private car was also seized from their possession, our Benapole correspondent reports quoting BGB-49 battalion Lt Col Md Selim Reza.
The arrestees are Hridoy Mia (37) of Chandpur and Ashraful Islam (40) of Cumilla.
The arrests were made in the upazila's Ulashi area when the two were on their way to Dhaka this noon, Lt Col Reza said.
A case was filed in this connection and they were handed over to local police.
