Tarique likely to meet CA Yunus today

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is likely to meet Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr Muhammad Yunus this afternoon.

Confirmed the development, a BNP source said the meeting will take place this afternoon at the chief adviser’s residence at the state guest house Jamuna.

After returning to the country from London on December 25 following 17 years in exile, Tarique spoke with Yunus over the phone. This will be their first in-person meeting since his return.

They last met in London on June 13.
