60,000 flats to be built under PPP

Bangladesh government has planned to build 60 thousand flats under the public-private partnership (PPP) system in Purbachal, which is a new city of Dhaka.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal came up with the government plan in the budget proposal for fiscal 2019-20 that was placed in the parliament today.

"The initiative was taken under the sustainable development goal for planned urbanization," he said.
