Sangeetanjali to air on BTV tonight

The first episode of 'Sangeetanjali' , an innovative musical programme of Bangladesh Television on the musical legends of Bangla Nagorik songs of the 20th century, will air tonight (16th June) at 9:30pm on  BTV. Each episode will focus on a legendary lyricist or composer, while presenting some of their major songs and a brief biography.

The Musical Legend of the first episode tonight is lyricist Ajoy Bhattacharya (1906-1943). Artistes Sumon Chowdhury and Badrunnesa Dalia will present five songs written by Ajoy Bhattacharya. The programme is planned and hosted by Iftekharul Islam and produced by Kamal Uddin Ahammod.
