Rtv revisits 'Nagorik Gaan' of golden era

Since last December, satellite TV channel Rtv's regular musical programme “Ei Raat Tomar Amar” started airing in a new format, themed on songs of the golden era of Bangla songs.

With the objective of selecting best Bangla 'Nagorik' songs from the '40s to '70s by viewers' choice, the programme has already telecast 39 songs of the '40s and 59 songs of the ' 50s performed by renowned and upcoming singers of the country, including Subir Nandi, Shaheen Samad, Fahim Hossain Chowdhury, Mohiuzzaman Chowdhury, Timir Nandi, Khairul Anam Shakil, Ferdous Ara, Sujit Mustafa, Badsha Bulbul, Dinat Jahan Munni and more.

The programme is being aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.
