Mousumi Hamid will be seen alongside Sajal in single-episode television play “Labh Khoti Shoman Shoman”, to be aired on a satellite channel during Eid. Written by Fahmid Abir and directed by Jamal Mallik, shooting for the play wrapped up recently in different locations of Old Dhaka. 

Mousumi plays Liza, a Dhakaiya girl in the drama, speaking in local dialect of the old town. About her experience, Mousumi said, “I learned to speak Dhakaiya from a friend of mine. The play has an interesting story and I have inkling that it will be appreciated by the audience.”
