Mou and Sajal in “Shironame Tumi”

Popular model-actress Sadia Islam Mou and Sajal have paired up for a special television play “Shironame Tumi” ahead of Eid. Written and directed by Faysal Khan Ripon, the play has been shot in different locations in the capital.

The play explores the romance of Supti and Arnob -- played by Mou and Sajal.

“I hope the audience will like the onscreen portrayal of the relationship between Supti and Arnob. Sajal is a pleasant co-actor and I always like to work with him,” said Mou.

Sajal said, “To play the role of Arnob was a challenge. And I am fortunate that I found a co-actress like Mou apu. I would like the audience to watch the play.”

Sajal and Mou first appeared onscreen seven years ago in a play directed by late actor Humayun Faridee. From then on, the duo has presented many popular plays and telefilms.
