Robi Porikramay Nazrul held at IGCC

Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) organised an evening of Nazrul Sangeet and Rabindra Sangeet, titled “Robi Porikramay Nazrul” by Anindita Kazi (from India) and Lily Islam on Saturday at IGCC, Gulshan-1.

Anindita Kazi is the daughter of Aniruddha Kazi and Granddaughter of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. She is a reputed Nazrul artiste and elocutionist. Lily Islam, meanwhile, is a leading performer in all TV channels in Bangladesh and India. 

Richard Kishor assisted the singers on guitar, while Binod Roy and Swarup Hossain were on keyboard and tabla respectively. Asit Biswas and Mohammad Manik played esraj and octopad to accompany the singers.
