BD HIP HOP FEST 2018 press meet

According to the veterans in the field of Hip Hop, it is not just a music genre, but it far exceeds to have formed a cultural movement that has its roots in Bronx, New York. The culture is relatively new in Bangladesh, but a handful of artistes have dedicated their talents to this art form.

Rendezvous Pvt Ltd, a concern of A Kabir R Group, organised a press brief at the conference hall of Bishwa Sahitya Kendra (BSK) yesterday. In an attempt to cultivate the Hip Hop culture of Bangladesh, they have decided to conduct the fourth installment of the festival titled AceOnlineBd.com presents BD Hip Hop Fest 2018. The organisers have announced that the event will take place on November 29 from 6 pm – 11:30 pm at International Convention Center Bashundhara (ICCB), Hall 2. As there will be no ticketing system for the festival, one will have to register online through the website www.aceonlinebd.com. The festival will commence after the launching of A Kabir R Group's concern aceonlinebd.com, that is an exclusive e-commerce web portal for luxury brands.

The artistes that have been lined up for the event include Rajotto, Jalali Set, Bangla Mentalz, Bishal Karim, Blue Poppers, B-Bots, D Warriors, DJ Riyon, DJ G and others. Apart from the performances, a fashion show is also on the schedule.

Ashinul Kabir Rajon, Director of BD Hip Hop Fest, Chairman of Rendezvous Pvt Ltd & A Kabir R Group, Bishal Karim, Rap artist and Producer, Syed Ruma, choreographer and stylist of BD Hip Hop Fest, Nurul Momen Sohel, Chairman of SAS Compact Tune, models Maria Kispotta and Shabnaz Sadia Emi were among the many who attended the press meeting.
