Moner Gohiney: Kumar Sanu and Porshi pair up for duet

Eminent Indian musician Kumar Sanu along with Bangladeshi songstress Porshi, recently collaborated for a song titled, Moner Gohiney. Shree Pritam from West Bengal was behind the tune and music arrangement of the song.

Porshi is delighted to be featured in the song with such an iconic musician as Kumar Sanu, an artiste she looked up to and dreamt of singing with, while growing up. She is rather optimistic about her new project and wishes that listeners will enjoy the song.

A telefilm, also titled Moner Gohiney, is set to be made, directed by A R Shahmeer. According to reports, he decided to work on a film with the same title after he felt the significance of the song. Soon after deciding the lead cast for the film, the director plans to begin his shoot from the beginning of August.
