Scarlett Johansson
Even though 1998's "The Horse Whisperer" was Scarlett Johansson's seventh feature film, she was given an "Introducing" credit in it. She applied to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts for the fall 2003 semester, but was not accepted.
Johansson began a music career in 2007 when she recorded an album comprised entirely of Tom Waits covers titled "Anywhere I Lay My Head." The album featured David Bowie and members of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. She recorded the single "Before My Time" for the documentary "Chasing Ice," which was nominated for Best Original Song at the 2013 Oscars.
