Popy's small-screen ventures

Multi-national award winning actress Popy is not seen in films very often these days. Her last big-screen outing was “Char Okkhorer Bhalobasha”.

The film was a hit among the audience, and many thought it would bring the talented actress back to the filmdom, but that did not pan out.

However, Popy is seen in TV plays at times, particularly those made for special occasions. The latest in that line of work was a single-episode one-hour play named “Love Speed”.

Her colleague from Dhallywood, Amin Khan will be seen opposite her in the play, directed by GM Shaikat. 

The TV play is set to air this Eid.
