13 including 6 healthcare professionals test Covid-19 positive in B’baria

Thirteen people, including six healthcare professionals, tested positive for coronavirus in Brahmanbaria district in the last 24 hours.

Dr Mohammad Ekram Ullah, civil surgeon of the district, confirmed the development today.

The infected health professionals include two doctors and three field-level staff of Bijoynagar upazila health complex and one doctor of Nabinagar upazila health complex, the civil surgeon said.

The others include four members of a doctor's family in Akhaura upazila, he added.

So far, 32 people have tested positive and three died of Covid-19 infection in the district.
