A story of love and war: ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’ releases haunting trailer
Trailer of Hridi Huq's film "1971 Shei Shob Din" has finally dropped and sharing glimpses into what went on in people's lives, their emotions and the subsequent war-torn East Bengal.
The trailer opens with cut scenes depicting the freedom fighters, the entertainment scene of the country and the effect that the war had on its people. The goose bump-inducing visuals are only interrupted by the chilling commentary, that highlights the plights and also the tender moments that the people of this country shared- before war tore it all apart.
The star-studded casting has already raised expectations for the film, with the trailer gathering 2.1K views within 50 minutes. Apart from directing, Hridi Huq herself features in "1971 Shei Shob Din", alongside a talented ensemble cast comprising of Mamunur Rashid, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Munmun Ahmed, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Ferdous, Tareen, Litu Anam, Saju Khadem, Sanjida Preeti, and many more. Notably, Litu Anam makes a remarkable comeback to cinema with this film after a hiatus of 15 years.
