Lewis Hamilton breaks record in Formula One racing

Lewis Hamilton, a British-born Formula One driver representing Mercedes, has recently broken the record for obtaining the most poles in a single circuit. 

In the Hungarian Grand Prix held yesterday, Hamilton took a record-breaking nine poles at the Hungaroring motor race track, beating his competitor Red Bull's Max Verstappen by 0.0003 seconds, thus setting a new benchmark of 1:16.609 for completing one circuit. 

This was Hamilton's 104th pole position in his illustrious Formula One career and was his first one since December 2021. The 38-year-old F1 driver is a seven-time World Driver's champion, with other notable achievements such as the most pole positions and most podium finishes in circuit racing.
