Avik Anwar, along with his all-Bangladeshi team, has delivered a stellar performance at the Renault Clio Cup Middle East. Representing the country, Anwar competed in the fiercely contested second round of the championship, held at Dubai Autodrome, and secured podium finishes in two races, claiming second and third places.

The Renault Clio Cup is among the oldest and most respected touring car racing series, characterised by its strict regulations ensuring all competitors race with cars of identical performance. The cup, known for its focus on driver skill by ensuring all cars have identical performance capabilities, pits competitors against one another on a level playing field. Racing on the challenging GP Layout of the Dubai Autodrome, Anwar outperformed rivals from nations with a rich motorsport pedigree, including Russia, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, Egypt, and Italy.
