John C McGinley will reprise his iconic role as the sharp-tongued Dr Perry Cox in ABC’s upcoming reboot of “Scrubs”. The actor is set to appear as a recurring character, joining fellow original cast members Zach Braff (JD), Donald Faison (Turk), Sarah Chalke (Elliot), and Judy Reyes (Carla), all of whom have confirmed their return. There is also speculation that Ken Jenkins and Neil Flynn may come back as Bob Kelso and Janitor.
Zach Braff is set to return as JD in a “Scrubs” reboot, currently in development at ABC. The revival, executive produced by original creator Bill Lawrence, marks a long-awaited comeback to Sacred Heart Hospital.
