Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has cut down the price of private operators’ liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Tk 35 to Tk 1,200 per 12 kg.
Global off-grid energy distributor SHV Energy is set to enter Bangladesh’s growing market for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by acquiring local bottler and marketer Petromax LPG.
Two Bangladeshi companies are set to export liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to the landlocked northeastern states of India. Omera Petroleum and Beximco LPG will export LPG to state-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), which will bottle and sell to consumers.
