The 24th Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) officially began today at the main auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum, marking the start of a ten-day celebration of world cinema.

The 24th Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) began today under the slogan “Aesthetic Cinema, Thoughtful Audience, Enlightened Society.” The opening ceremony will take place at 4 pm in the main auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum.

Open to filmmakers from across Asia, the lab will select ten finalists whose screenplays will be mentored by international experts during the festival. The top three scripts will receive development funding of TK 500,000, 300,000, and 200,000 respectively.
