Why America’s new trade move is a threat to Bangladesh
The United States is set to bring major changes to global trade. Washington has announced the launch of investigations against 16 countries, including Bangladesh. The allegation is that these countries engage in “overproduction,” which is affecting American factories. For this reason, the US government has reactivated an old law known as Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974.
