BGB, Police win national kabaddi titles

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Police recorded emphatic victories in the final of the National Kabaddi Championship, held at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Saturday.

In the men's final, BGB defeated Bangladesh Army by 33-28 points to lift the trophy. The match was fiercely contested from the outset. The Army dominated the first half and went into the break with a 12-9 lead.

In the women's final, Bangladesh Police clinched the title with a 36-31 points win over Bangladesh Ansar & VDP. Police led 17-12 at the end of the first half.

Sraboni Mallick of Police and Al Amin of BGB were named the best players of the tournament in the two categories.
