Veteran Vettori picks 3 wickets
Veteran Kiwi spinner Daniel Vettori today picked up three Scottish wickets and gave away only 24 runs in 8.2 overs in the ICC World Cup Match at Dunedin.
His economical spell chocked the Scotland batsmen of runs after the initial burst of wickets from Trent Boult and Tim Southee.
As Scotland tried to break the shackles imposed by New Zealand bowlers, Vettori managed to polish the lower order and quickly ended Scottish resistance.
Scotland were all out for 142 runs in 36.2 overs.
Earlier in the opening match of the tournament he picked two wickets against Sri Lanka.
