Due to the persistent rain, the 11th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 between Bangladesh and Australia in Brisbane today was officially declared abandoned by the officials.

With this no-result match, both the teams shared one point each.

The torrent became heavier with time, especially after the declaration of cyclone alert in the state of Queensland.

The match did not even experience of event of toss due to the weather condition in Gabba.

Australia and Bangladesh are now taking on the second and third spot respectively in the Pool A standings.

New Zealand, with three out of three wins, top the group.

Bangladesh will now wait to face Sri Lanka on February 26 at Melbourne. The game will start at 9:30am (Bangladesh time).
