Siddikur moves up

Siddikur Rahman moved up to 24th position on the leaderboard after a decent effort in the third round of the Mercuries Taiwan Masters yesterday.

The 31-year-old golfer exchanged two birdies against the same number of bogeys in trying conditions at the Taiwan Golf and Country Club on Saturday to move up 18 places from his overnight position.

With scores of 76, 74 and 72 over the three rounds, the two-time Asian Tour winner took his aggregate score to six-over-par (222) which is 10 strokes behind leader Panuphol Pittarayat of Thailand.
