NZ ‘A’ set to arrive on May 1 for full series

New Zealand A team will arrive in Bangladesh on May 1 to play three one-day and two four-day matches against their Bangladeshi counterparts.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) yesterday confirmed the itinerary of the series, which will begin with the first one-day game on May 5 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The remaining two 50-over matches will be played on May 7 and 10 at the same venue.

Sylhet will also host the first four-day match from May 14-17, while Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium will host the second and last four-day game from May 21-24. New Zealand A team will depart on May 25.

The series was scheduled to take place in September last year, but the touring side postponed the series due to travel restrictions following the government change in the country.
