Imran Khan's legacy to be honoured with stadium renaming in Peshawar

Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has decided to rename Peshawar's Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium in honour of former prime minister and cricketing legend Imran Khan, Express News reported.
The provincial sports department has submitted a proposal to rename the venue as "Imran Khan Cricket Stadium," with the final decision expected at Friday's cabinet meeting, where approval is anticipated.
Imran Khan, who led Pakistan to their first-ever World Cup triumph in 1992, remains one of the country's greatest all-rounders. In a stellar international career spanning over two decades, he played 88 Tests and 175 ODIs, amassing 3,807 and 3,709 runs, respectively, while also claiming 362 Test and 182 ODI wickets.
