Kusal Perera joins Rangpur Riders

Rangpur Riders CEO Ishtiaq Sadek has confirmed that Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera will feature for the franchise in the upcoming edition of the BPL, local media reports.

Having already secured the services of Chris Gayle,  Samuel Badree, Johnson Charles, Thisara Perera, Ravi Bopara, Arafat Sunny now Rangpur have now managed to rope in Sri Lanka’s wicket-keeper batsman into their side.

He has previously played in the IPL and has played in 27 international T20 matches for Sri Lanka – scoring 716 runs at an impressive strike rate of 132.10.

He averages 26.51 and has a high score of 84. He has six international T20 half-centuries to his name.
