'Sanju' Misleading?

Even though the newly released biopic Sanju about controversial actor Sanjay Dutt's life is a hit, many reviewers are enraged by it. They claim that the movie hid a lot of Dutt's shady past. People on twitter blasted the movie by calling it "a large, expensive and endearing gift from a film maker to his friend" and "a massive public relations campaign disguised as a film." According to reviewers, the scenes related to the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts are quickly and cursorily dealt with. The critics also took issue with how they portrayed the media as the villain. Even amidst all these negative reviews, Sanju has been billed as one of the most successful Bollywood movies of all time. A lot of the credit goes to Ranbir Kapoor, who played Sanjay Dutt. Kapoor has received high praise for his raw and immersive portrayal of the controversial actor.
