BNP team to visit landslide-hit Ctg, Rangamati

A five-member BNP delegation will visit landslide-ravaged areas of Chittagong and Rangamati tomorrow.

The team will start for Chittagong from Dhaka around 7:00am, Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s media wing, told The Daily Star.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will lead the team, Syrul said.

The death toll in landslides stood at 150 in five hill districts including Rangamati, the worst affected area where 112 people died so far.
