Metropolitan magistrates Tarek Mainul Islam Bhuiyan and Maruf Hassan however allowed police to interrogate Khoka at jail gate within 10 days the two cases.
Paltan police filed the sedition case against Khoka on December 7 for provoking party men to go for violence.
The other case was filed by Sutrapur police after a man was killed as miscreants set fire to a leguna in front of Victoria Park in the old part of the city in November 9.
The courts came up with the orders when the investigation officers of the cases produced Khoka before the magistrates with 10-day remand prayer for each of the cases.
