‘Dhurandhar’ emerges as highest grossing Hindi film
Aditya Dhar’s spy-action spectacle “Dhurandhar” has rewritten Hindi cinema’s box office history, emerging as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 831.40 crore nett at the Indian box office by the end of its 33rd day.
The film continues to dominate the charts even in its fifth week, adding Rs 5.70 crore nett on Tuesday alone. Its sustained run is being attributed to strong word of mouth, consistent audience turnout, and repeat viewership.
On the global front, “Dhurandhar” has crossed Rs 1,222 crore worldwide. The achievement is particularly noteworthy as the film has not been released in the Middle East, traditionally one of the strongest overseas markets for Indian films.
With its record-breaking performance both domestically and internationally, “Dhurandhar” has firmly secured its place in the history of Hindi cinema.
