Buet student Fardin murder: Accused Bushra arrested

Police arrested prime accused Amatullah Bushra in a case filed over killing Buet student Fardin Noor Parash on November 7.

"We arrested her from Banasree this morning. We will send her to a Dhaka court seeking a seven-day remand," said officer-in-charge Rafiqul Islam of Rampura Police Station.

Earlier, Fardin's father Nuruddin Rana filed a case accusing Amatullah Bushra, the victim's friend, with Rampura Police Station.

The body of Fardin, a third-year student of civil engineering department of Buet, was recovered from Shitalakkhya at Banani Ghat under Siddhirganj Police Station around 4:30pm on November 7.
