Content creator RS Fahim detained near Mirpur zoo
Locals intercepted his car before officers took him to police station

Police this afternoon detained content creator RS Fahim from near Dhaka's Mirpur National Zoo.
Witnesses said a group of 10 to 15 people intercepted his car in front of the zoo earlier, and a video of the incident later spread on social media.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. “Locals had held him before police arrived. We then brought him to the police station,” confirmed Emdad Hossain, assistant commissioner of the Darus Salam Zone.
He added that Fahim is accused in multiple cases filed with different police stations over incidents connected to the July Uprising.
Further legal steps will be taken after reviewing the cases, he added.
