Vicky Kaushal portrays young pandit in his upcoming film
After getting much appreciation for his last film, "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke", Vicky Kaushal is back with a new comedy-entertainer, titled "The Great Indian Family". The star dropped the trailer for his new project on social media today.
Taking to his social media accounts, the "Sardar Udham" star shared, "Our 'Great Indian Family' is coming to meet your family on this September 22. Watch the trailer and let's meet soon at your nearest cinema hall."
"The Great Indian Family" narrates the tale of Ved Vyas Tripathi (Vicky Kaushal) whose biggest problem is that every girl in town knows him as the pandit's son and treats him like a religious guru. However, his life turns upside down when he discovers that he originally belongs to a Muslim lineage.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also features Manushi Chhillar, Bhuvan Arora, Kumud Mishra and Sadiya Siddiqui, amongst others. "The Great Indian Family" will hit the Indian theatres on September 22.
