‘Tiger 3’ teaser: Salman Khan asks India for 'character certificate'
Salman Khan has finally unveiled the much-awaited "Tiger 3" teaser today. This time Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger has been framed as a traitor to India.
The teaser was released on the occasion of noted filmmaker Yash Chopra's birthday. This Maneesh Sharma directorial, stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles.
The film teaser, which promises to become an edge-of-your-seat action entertainer, begins with Salman asking for a character certificate from India after 20 years of service to his country.
"After working 20 years for India, now India is considering me as a foe and a traitor," he questioned, as he filmed himself communicating with the Indian population until the sound of gunshots appeared in his background.
Salman was then seen struggling with dozens of heavily armed soldiers and shooting them all. There was flying and jumping from buildings involved, in what appeared to be Turkey. He then ended the teaser with, "Till the day Tiger breathes, never will Tiger accept defeat."
"Tiger 3" will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 10. Maneesh Sharma directed the third installment of the "Tiger" franchise, which stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist.
Salman and Katrina will appear in it after their 2019 film "Bharat". Previously, the team appeared in films such as "Ek Tha Tiger", "Tiger Zinda Hai", "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya" and "Partner".
The film will also reportedly have a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan who appeared with Salman Khan's Tiger in Siddharth Anand's hit movie "Pathaan".
Following the box office successes of Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Tiger Zinda Hai" YRF's Aditya Chopra introduced two new espionage agents, Hrithik Roshan (Kabir) in War and Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan).
Salman Khan's "Tiger" helped shape the YRF Spy Universe franchise into what it is now, and all eyes are now on his upcoming film for disclosure of the next chain of events in the spy universe. "Tiger 3" takes place after the events of "Tiger" (2017), "War" (2019), and "Pathaan" (2023).
