Sisimpur screens exclusive premiere of 15th season
Popular children's show, "Sisimpur" celebrated the launch of its 15th season today at the Bangladesh Film Archive's auditorium in Agargaon. The event was organised by Sesame Workshop Bangladesh.
The Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education, Shah Rezwan Hayat, along with the guest of honour, USAID Mission Director Kathryn Stevens, officially launched the 15th season of the show at the event.
Supported by USAID and produced by Sesame Workshop Bangladesh, the latest season of "Sisimpur" features narrative formats like "Shikhu's World of Science" and "Ikri's Playtime". An overarching theme of this new season is ensuring access and participation of all children. The episodes also feature characters from a range of backgrounds and ethnicities, as well as persons with disabilities.
The new season will also introduce a new character, a four-year-old person with disabilities, Julia. On top of that, several episodes of the new season will feature sign language as well.
The 15th season is expected to premiere on February 3 on Duronto Tv.
