‘Sinpaat’ bags Best Film, Drama or Series in critics’ choice category
"Sinpaat" took home the Critics' Best Film/Drama/Series award at the "Blender's Choice-The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2024," being held at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC).
Touqir Islam, who first drew attention with his 2022 debut Bengali series "Shaaticup", returned after two years with "Sinpaat", reaffirming his talent for crafting narratives that are deeply rooted in local culture yet resonate universally. The series blends compelling storytelling, relatable characters, and technical finesse, creating a viewing experience that earned both critical acclaim and audience admiration.
