Twenty-one days after the Eid release of 'Borbaad', Shakib Khan finally arrived to watch his own film at the cinema. He attended a special premiere show of the movie held today at Star Cineplex near the airport.

"I'm overwhelmed by the audience's love. The affection people are showing for this film is truly incomparable. I couldn't make time earlier because of shooting for a new project. At last, I managed to come today," he said at the screening.

‘Borbaad’ and ‘Daagi’ dominate overseas theatres

Among others present were the film's producer Shahreen Akhter Sumi, alongside artistes as such Intekhab Dinar, Bijori Barkatullah,  Shihab Shaheen, Dighi, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Konal and Emon.

Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, "Borbaad" stars Idhika Paul opposite Shakib Khan. The cast also includes Misha Sawdagor, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Mamunur Rashid, Fazlur Rahman Babu, and Jisshu Sengupta. Additionally actress Nusrat Jahan features in the item number titled "Chaand Mama".
