Sabnam Faria gets married

Renowned model and actress Sabnam Faria has tied the knot. The wedding ceremony was held today, Friday, after Asr prayer, in the presence of close family members from both sides, Faria confirmed to Prothom Alo.

Shabnam Faria revealed that her husband's name is Tanzim Tayeb. He hails from Rajshahi and holds a master's degree in Financial Engineering from the University of South Wales, Australia. He is currently working as an Assistant Vice President at a leading private bank in Bangladesh.

Speaking to Prothom Alo after the wedding, Faria said, "My feelings about marriage have always been complex—no less than anxiety. After going through various complicated and personal experiences related to marriage, I thought this chapter might never come in my life. However, with the passage of time and an unexpected family decision, this outcome has come about."

Faria revealed that the wedding took place at Masjid Al-Mustafa, located on Madani Avenue, on the outskirts of Dhaka, with the presence of close relatives and friends.

She also mentioned that due to the sudden nature of the decision, her only sister-in-law was unable to attend the ceremony as she is currently abroad. She added, "However, in the future, we plan to organise a post-wedding reception with colleagues, relatives, and close friends. We hope for everyone's prayers and good wishes for our new journey."

It is worth noting that Shabnam Faria was previously married in 2018 to Harunur Rashid Apu, who was then working as a Senior Manager at a private marketing company.
