Sabila Noor boards ‘Bonolota Express’, paving way for new face in ‘Rakkhosh’

After making waves with her performance opposite Shakib Khan in "Taandob", actress Sabila Noor quickly became one of the most talked-about names in Dhallywood. As fans eagerly awaited news of her next big-screen project, reports surfaced that she had signed on for "Rakkhosh", directed by Mehedi Hassan Hridoy—best known for "Borbaad".

However, while discussions around "Rakkhosh" were underway, it was also revealed that Sabila had joined the cast of Tanim Noor's "Bonolota Express". With both films scheduled to begin shooting around the same time, speculation grew that the actress might juggle both projects simultaneously. But it has now been confirmed that Sabila has stepped away from "Rakkhosh".

According to sources, "Rakkhosh" is slated to begin filming in December, featuring Siam Ahmed in the lead role. The same month will also see the start of "Bonolota Express", co-starring Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, and Shariful Razz alongside Sabila. Due to overlapping schedules, Sabila reportedly decided to withdraw from "Rakkhosh" after consulting with both the director and the production house.

Speaking about her decision, Sabila said, "I had been in talks with Tanim bhai about 'Bonolota Express' for quite some time. Meanwhile, discussions about 'Rakkhosh' also progressed. But since both films were set to shoot at the same time, I had to choose one. Both directors encouraged me to decide freely and assured their support either way. I felt it would be difficult to give equal focus to two projects simultaneously, so I chose to dedicate myself fully to one character."

Director Mehedi Hassan confirmed that the team is now looking for a new leading actress for "Rakkhosh". "We've already spoken with a few actresses, and we'll announce the final name before shooting begins," he shared.
