Raihan Rafi's 'Shurongo' heightens anticipation, advance tickets sell out
Director Raihan Rafi expressed his gratitude to the audience for the overwhelming response to the advance ticket sales of his upcoming film "Shurongo." Yesterday, he posted on his Facebook account, revealing that almost all the first-day tickets for the film were quickly sold out, at Bashundhara City Star Cineplex, Sony Square and SKS Tower, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the film's release.
Alongside the post, Rafi shared a screenshot of the seating arrangement, showcasing the high demand for the film.
The screenwriter of this film, Nazim Ud Daula, also took to his Facebook to express his excitement about the advance ticket sales.
Nazim Ud Daula described the response as unprecedented, highlighting the sold-out status of the advance tickets at Bashundhara City, Sony Square, and SKS Tower for its first day screening.
Starring Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza, "Shurongo" has been released in 28 cinema halls across the country today. Raihan Rafi emphasised the decision to focus on multiplexes, aiming to provide a family-friendly movie-watching experience.
While the initial release targets the multiplex audience, Rafi mentioned the possibility of expanding to single-screen theatres in different parts of the country based on the film's reception.
