Raihan Rafi unveils first look of ‘Pressure Cooker’

After weeks of speculation, director Raihan Rafi has officially unveiled the first look of his upcoming women-centric film “Pressure Cooker”, along with its release announcement for Eid-ul-Fitr. This film is produced by Raihan Rafi and Faridur Reza Sagar.

The first-look poster features the film’s four lead actresses — Shobnom Yesmin Bubly, Nazifa Tushi, Mariya Hossain Mehnati and Snighda Chowdhury — appearing confident and bold in traditional lehenga attire, hinting at a story centred on strong female characters.

Sharing the poster, the director wrote, “This city of Dhaka is actually a pressure cooker for women. If their screams cannot be endured, the whistle blows in this pressure cooker. Neither can they leave this city, nor can the city leave them.”
