New ‘Mr-9’ clip showcases Masud Rana’s iconic weapon
A new clip from "Mr-9: Do or Die" features the dashing ABM Sumon and Indian actor Omi Vaidya coming together to determine the ultimate weapon for the iconic Bangladeshi spy, Masud Rana.
The clip finally answered the most pressing question: will Mr-9 stick with his beloved Walther PP series pistol or upgrade to a new weapon? In this scene, Omi Vaidya plays Faisal, a brain-computer interface (BCI), a tech-expert who assists Masud Rana in assembling the ultimate pistol.
Omi gives Masud Rana the modified version called Shadow System's MR 920, which is a technologically advanced update. "3 Idiots" fans were happy to sport the actor after a long time in the small clip.
"Mr-9: Do or Die'' will be released on 150 screens in the US and Canada on August 25 by Swapna Scarecrow. The film will be distributed on the same date in Bangladesh by Jaaz Multimedia.
Based on the classic Bangladeshi spy novel series "Masud Rana", the film tells the story of agent MR-9, a skillful and seasoned spy with a complicated past. He is selected to join an elite group of worldwide agents. They must work together to prevent a terror attack on Las Vegas organised by tech villain Roman Ross (Frank Grillo).
The film is produced by Jaaz Multimedia, The Film Post, Chasing Butterflies, Mr-9 Films, and Al Bravo Films. It stars ABM Sumon, Frank Grillo, Sakshi Pradhan, Michael Jai White and Niko Foster, among others, in prominent roles.
