Actress Zakia Bari Mamo made her debut with the film "Daruchini Dwip", earning a National Film Award for her very first role. Since then, her journey has been marked by success. She has solidified her position by showcasing her talent across three platforms: television dramas, films, and OTT. 

Today marks the birthday of the much-loved artiste Mamo. When asked how she has been spending her special day, Mamo shared, "I will be spending this birthday working." 

"As a former student of Jahangirnagar University, I attended a seminar there. It was wonderful reconnecting with many people and enjoying quality time. Jahangirnagar holds a special place in my heart. It always feels wonderful to return there." she expressed. 

"Birthdays, in general, become a time to feel unique. It's a day when people's affection shines through. Fans send their best wishes, and close ones offer their respective forms of felicitations. The love from everyone makes the day truly special."

According to her, Mamo's birthday celebrations began two days earlier on social media. She said, "It was all organised by my friends as a surprise. I am endlessly grateful to them. Their love truly moves me."

When asked about her aspirations, Mamo voiced, "I seek the blessings and prayers of everyone. I hope to keep making meaningful contributions to the acting industry utilising my skills."

Meanwhile, Mamo's latest film, "840: The Great Bangla Democracy Pvt Ltd", premiered last Friday. Directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, the movie features her in the role of a police commissioner.

She spoke about the film saying, "In this new film, I portrayed the role of a district police commissioner. Many viewers have spoken positively about the character and praised the storyline. Our director and my fellow cast members also appreciated my work. It's always wonderful to hear such compliments."

Films such as "Ora 7 Jon" and "Radio" are among the notable productions Mamo has been part of. Her performances in "Chuye Dile Mon", "Alta Banu", "Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe", "Dahan", "Shopner Ghor", and "Sphulingo" have also been widely praised.

She reiterated her rationale and affirmed, "I aim to act in great films that will leave a lasting impression on the audience."

Mamo has made her mark on OTT by starring in several popular web-series, including "Mohanagar", "Contract", and "Refugee". She commented, "Viewers are enjoying OTT content, and there is some excellent work being produced in this sector."

The artiste wrapped up the brief conversation by expressing her gratitude, stating, "I appreciate everyone remembering today and wish for all to be happy and healthy."
