Legendary novelist and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed's beloved creation "Tara Tinjon" is making a return, thanks to his son, director Nuhash Humayun.

The trio of characters, who once had audiences in stitches, included Faruque Ahmed as the uncle of Shadhin Khasru's character, and Ejajul Islam portraying Faruque's friend. The original series spanned nine episodes, and now Nuhash has reunited the iconic trio for a new advertisement.

The recently aired ad titled "Jibon Ekta Kuwa" ("Life is a Well") features a humorous yet touching story. In it, Faruque Ahmed's character attempts to jump into a well to end his life, claiming that his sadness is as deep as the well. Ejajul's character intervenes to stop him while he laments about his sorrows until Shadhin, portraying his nephew, offers a humorous solution to his grief.

Speaking about the project, Nuhash Humayun explained, "This is not a sequel, nor is it a new drama or OTT content. It's simply a new advertisement." Nuhash has directed a few advertisements featuring the trio, which remains immensely popular even today.

Clips of "Tara Tinjon" from the original dramas still circulate across social media, with fans expressing nostalgia in the comment sections of video clips on YouTube and Facebook.

Last year, Shadhin Khasru hinted at a possible film featuring the trio and even mentioned that the script was already in development. Faruque Ahmed also confirmed discussions about the film. However, before the film took shape, Nuhash brought them back to the screen with this new ad. Since its release, fans have been sharing their love for the iconic trio on social media.
