'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe expecting first child with girlfriend
"Harry Potter" lead Daniel Radcliffe is expecting his first child with long time partner Erin Darke. The actor's representatives confirmed the news to E!News.
According to the entertainment portal, the 33-year-old Harry Potter star and Darke, 38, will become parents later this year.
The actors first met and fell in love after meeting on the sets of "Kill Your Darlings" in 2013. In the film, Radcliffe played poet Allen Ginsberg, and Darke played Gwendolyn, a romantic interest.
Radcliffe became famous at the age of 12 in 2001, when he starred as the bespectacled boy wizard in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone."
He most recently starred in "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story," which was released last year.
The film is based on the life and career of comedian Weird Al Yankovic, who rose to fame with his hilarious spoof versions of classic songs.
Darke, who was born in Michigan, is best known for her role in the 2015 series "Good Girl Revolt, " and she most recently appeared in the Prime Video series "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel."
Rupert Grint, Radcliffe's "Harry Potter" co-star who played Ronald Weasley in the films, has a three-year-old daughter, Wednesday, with actress Georgia Groome.
